Bam Margera listens to Sanguisugabogg

Okay maybe Bam doesn't actually listen to Sanguisugabogg. But it's not hard to imagine he gave them at least one listen after making this post. You too can listen to their latest single "Rotted Entanglement" from their upcoming third full-length album, Hideous Aftermath. Album drops October 10th via Century Media Records.
2000's metalcore nerds rejoice. Portland's Dying Wish announced their new album Flesh Stays Together with a banger new single "I'll Know You're Not Around." Soaring clean vocals, rhythmic thrash riffs, and monstrous breakdowns, real metalcore is alive and well in the PNW.
They say everything is bigger in Texas, but there's an exception to every rule. That exception is up and coming metallic hardcore act Soul Exchange. If you like thrash leaning hardcore like God's Hate then you'll love the latest single from SE, "Absence of Self." At this rate it's only a matter of time until they live up to their home state's slogan.
I always say hardcore is something you have to experience live to really understand. Especially if we're talking about a band as emotionally charged as Southern California's Touche Amore. Luckily you don't have to leave your house to hear them live now. Listen to "TA Live on BBC Radio 1" here.
Colorado isn't a place I associate with street culture as much as I do white suburbia. But let's be real, that's where most nu-metal and rap rock originates. Fox Lake leans all the way into nu metal tendencies on New World Heat. If you're looking for fun, highly moshable nu-metalcore similar to Thrown and Alpha Wolf, this is your beat.
Lastly, if you're into alt-rock and grunge then Flatwounds, Fleshwater, and Hard Chiller all released new music. Perfect if you wish you were in Seattle in 1992.
That's all for this week, let me know if I missed anything!
PS- If you really are a 2000's metalcore nerd like me, I made a video discussing 7 albums that shaped the metalcore sound.
